Its routes can be used to create connections with other transit services. Among the services most useful for visitors to Mammoth Lakes are:
- YARTS 877.989.2787. YARTS provides bus service between Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park during the summer (June and September service is on weekends only; July and August service is daily). This route crosses Tioga Pass on State Route 120 and also serves June Lake, Lee Vining, Tuolumne Meadows, White Wolf, and Crane Flat. A connection can be made in Yosemite Valley to El Portal, Midpines, Mariposa, and Merced.

- Mammoth Mountain Ski Area provides local free shuttle transportation during the ski season. See the ski season shuttle bus map.
- The Town of Mammoth Lakes provides local shuttle transportation, free of charge, on established routes from spring until fall. There is also a demand-response Dial-a-Ride service (760.924.1824) that provides service for a small charge between any two requested points in a specified zone within Mammoth Lakes. The town's Web pages about these systems are here.
- A shuttle service provides transportation, from late spring until early fall, between Mammoth Mountain Inn and Reds Meadow over Minaret Summit. This service also provides access to Agnew Meadows and Devils Postpile National Monument on the way.
The Mammoth Lakes area is located in the ancient Long Valley Caldera, historically and currently associated with volcanic activity. The area is monitored by the United States Geological Survey.
